We are happy and excited to announce that after nearly 100 years of library service in Mamakating, we have acquired a parcel of land for a permanent home! The property is located on Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, adjacent to the Community Church.

Our most sincere thanks go to our patrons and supporters and all residents of the library district. In addition, we extend special appreciation to the Sullivan County Legislature, our Mamakating legislators, Kathy LaBuda and Jonathan Rouis and County Treasurer Ira Cohen for making this possible by removing the parcel from the tax sale to allow the library to purchase it by paying the taxes owed to the County. We look forward to building in the future and providing a spacious, modern facility for our Mamakating Library community!

NOTICE The March 6th Library Board of Trustees meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. Public Welcome!

The Mamakating Library now has Wi-Fi ~ Inquire within!
